Bontenunryu Hocho »Kai«, Sujihiki- Kiritsuke (Fish and Meat Knife)

Description

The Bontenunryu »Kai« series offers a unique combination of traditional Japanese design and modern functionality. By integrating new designs into traditional textures, a neo-retro style emerges that stands out from other knives. The carefully crafted design aims to maximise functionality. The blade's expressive Damascus pattern is created by a total of 63 folded layers of steel. The core cutting layer is made of VG-10, a rustproof steel of the highest grade, which is characterised by its excellent edge life. The high-quality octagonal handle is also a head-turner, made of quince wood with a blue resin inlay and black layered wood at the transition to the blade. Comes in gift box. Rustproof, hardness 61 HRC.
