Description
Silk and linen lend the light dark blue wool fabric, made by Barberis Canonico in Northern Italy, the characteristic check in burgundy, beige and white. Fitted three-button blazer with diagonal flap pockets and back vent made of breathable grainy Panama fabric. The undercollar and viscose half lining are burgundy.
Vitale Barberis Canonico was founded in 1663 in Biella, Italy and is therefore one of the most traditional wool weaving mills in the world. It is still owned by the family today. The extensive archive offers an inexhaustible pool of weaving techniques and designs. Especially famous are the pure wool flannels and the blends of wool with other first-class natural fibres.
