Louisiana Cajun Spice, Fine

Description

Pure nature – without additives!

Cajun Spice is an authentic spice classic from the »Cajun kitchen«. This is the name given to the cooking habits and preparation methods of the descendants of French settlers in the US state of Louisiana – the Cajuns. This is a rather simple and rustic cuisine made from locally available ingredients. The spice mixture was originally used for a wide variety of dishes, including the one-pot dish »jambalaya«. In more recent times, the big steakhouses discovered this spice and increased its popularity with »Cajun Marinated Steaks«. Our Cajun Spice is a real all-rounder with dark and white meat, fish, shellfish and vegetables. We particularly recommend using it as a dry marinade with beef steaks and prawns.
Expert tip: Corn, grilled and baked vegetables and game dishes also benefit from a pinch of Cajun!
