Rüdemann »Wacholder« Gin, ABV 38 %, 500 ml

Description

Juniper spirit is the forefather of gin and, like hunting, has a long tradition. The two hunters Niklas and Jan wanted to create a high-quality, uncomplicated hunting schnapps that fits in with the hunting community. It was important for them to focus on the basis of a good gin - the juniper berry. Both in aroma and taste, the pleasantly mild Rüdemann »Wacholder« is comparable to classic gin. Self-cultivated wheat and aromatic juniper berries unite to become a clear spirit of the highest quality, , refined with essences of the local pine and a handful of wild raspberries. These harmoniously complement the juniper and woody aromas with a fruity note. On the nose, this schnapps offers a fine, pleasant interplay of the typical scent of juniper berries, which is additionally carried by the finely balanced resinous essence of the pines. The palate reveals woody aromas of pine, typical juniper notes and the fine sweetness of wild raspberries. The finish is mild, slightly woody and dry. In the aftertaste, it has a fresh and finely tuned note reminiscent of citrus fruits. This combination makes Rüdemann »Wacholder« a finely tuned »gin« that can be drunk purely or with tonic water. Particularly authentic – and exciting – it is drunk with a small pine twig. Here’s to a successful hunt!
