»Cavan« Ladies' Kilt

Description

The »Cavan« skirt combines classic kilt elements with feminine elegance and a timeless silhouette. The gently flared A-line flatters the waist and gives the skirt a balanced combination of structure and lightness.

Two finely crafted leather buckles at the side reference the traditional construction of a kilt and allow for an individual adjustment of the waist. The distinctive pleat at the front lends the skirt an elegant sense of movement with every step.

The »Cavan« is crafted by hand in Dublin – from pure new wool. The premium fabric impresses with its pleasant feel, excellent shape retention and natural warmth – ideal for the cooler seasons.

A side zip fastening ensures a secure and discreet closure. The »Cavan« skirt is the perfect choice for women who value meticulous craftsmanship, subtle detailing and a stylish blend of tradition and modern tailoring.

O'Neil of Dublin

Located in the heart of Dublin’s historic Old Town, in the traditional Copper Alley and just a few steps from Dublin Castle, O’Neil of Dublin has its headquarters. The site within the old city walls holds special significance, as bespoke garments for Dublin’s nobility were already being made in Copper Alley centuries ago. The company was founded in 1956 by James Sexton. With just four sewing machines, two cutting tables, a few steam presses and a second-hand pleating machine, he laid the foundation for a success story that continues to this day. By 1959, O’Neil of Dublin had already specialised in the production of classic kilts – garments that have since been appreciated far beyond the borders of Ireland. The company remains family-owned and is now run by the second generation. With great care and a deep commitment to traditional craftsmanship, O’Neil of Dublin continues to honour its roots and maintains its dedication to quality and authenticity – for nearly 70 years.
